Farrah's Story, the new documentary about Farrah Fawcett's cancer battle, is strong stuff!!!
Heartbreaking, hard to watch but also deeply moving & uplifting.
Kate Jackson participated.

It was rerun on Oxygen earlier today.
Tomorrow at 3PM (West Coast time) it will air again on MSNBC.

I watched it on NBC last night.  It was inpsiring, hopeful, and heartbreaking.  It's great to see Kate & Jaclyn stepping up to help their costar.  Jaclyn is beyond goregous!  I am hung up on her!

Check it out if you can!

Thanks so much!  Kate looks really good.  I need to pop over to IMDB.com and see what she is up to these days!

It was good to see Kate Jackson participating in Farrah's documentary. Since I had just finished my viewing of the 1840 and 1841 storylines which featured Ms. Jackson, the contrast with how she looked almost 40 years ago with how she looked in the documentary was striking. I recall that Kate Jackson has dealt with cancer in the past, too, as was alluded to in the documentary.

For those of us who grew up during the time of DS's original airing, Farrah Fawcett is truly an icon of 1970s television. I think this documentary will also be a landmark. For those of us who have lost a loved one to cancer, so much of the documentary will really hit home - the hopes for experimental treatments, the prayers for a miracle, and the suffering we witness. Farrah's faith and her love - evident even in her present state of hazy awareness - are inspiring.

Yeah...and it I think the documentary can be a testament to cancer period.  It's ugly.  It has taken many DS stars.  And many regular everyday "joes"  It was raw and my grandmother turned her head when Farrah was vomiting.  She asked why did they show that.  I told her to show people what cancer is all about. It's not pretty.  And kudos to Farrah for showing herself without hair.  I pray for that miracle.  I am huge fan of Charlies' Angels! Although I liked Cheryl better! I know, I am a travesty! LOL

It's a shame that after all these years that cancer has not been eradicated!

I'm glad that Farrah & Alana Stewart showed the truth of what cancer is.
It's ugly & horrific on a level that's almost unimaginable
if you haven't been there.
Movies that make cancer seem "romantic" have always offended me~~there's nothing romantic about it.
