Hooray! I'm finally caught up! Very clever of Barnabas to tell Vicki that Burke is investigating him!
He is manipulating her very nicely, and was able to show Julia what he could do without resorting to violence. I prefer
this Barnabas to the one who killed Jason to get what he wanted. This is the beginnings of the Barnabas I know and love the best.
Lucky, lucky Barnabas: Now he has somebody to show off for.
Julia's arrival
was lucky for Barnabas - now he
does , indeed, have someone to brag to, who appreciates his finesse!
David got home
way too late! It sure took a long time for him and Sarah to go to Eagle Hill Cemetery. I think that Vicki should have made David get his
own dinner, but she should have been watching to make sure he got nutritious food. David was let off easy for his lateness by having Mrs. Johnson cater to him.
Sarah sure is cagey with what she says. She told David that the occupant of the coffin "went away" - without going into more detail.
That last scene of Barnabas wanting to see Sarah in the mausoleum was sad. I felt sorry for him.
