Sadly, though, it's practically one of those turn-your-head-and-you'll-miss-her parts (though not as brief as her role in the '90 miniseries People Like Us, which was a blink-and-you'll-miss-her part).    Though on the plus side, as small as it is, it's, as Lara herself described it at the '89 Fest, a "the bitch that you love to hate" role.

She's only in one scene of China Lake, but I recall it as a five minute scene in which she has a number of lines & a few good close-ups, [spoiler]before she becomes victim #1.[/spoiler]

True - but I just didn't want people to think she has anything but a small part.

People Like Us is pretty decent and it features the '91 series' Jean Simmons in an excellent role. Michael Cavanaugh from the '91 series also appears. But so far as Lara goes, I'd be lucky to try to get a decent screen capture of her from it (she makes a very brief appearance as a fellow stewardess to Connie Sellecca's character) - though I might try later.
