Yes, the price is absolute tripe, particularly since it is not a neutral inscription. Worth less than a tenth of that.

Alexandra is not a particularly difficult autograph to get. Or at least she wasn't when I contacted her. This was before the internet was around, maybe 20 something years ago. I found a listing for A Isles on a Park Avenue address in Manhattan. I took a chance and sent off a DS photo with a nice cover letter and a SASE. Alexandra signed and personalized the photo. I know that other fans had similar success. She's known to be gracious with fans, as long as they don't overstep.
