I ride by ST. Barnabas's Catholic Church in Portsmouth R.I. on my way to my sister's house, I chuckle every time.

Hmm...ya know, last month when my daughter and I were on our way to an Aerosmith concert near Philadelphia, we kept seeing these signs for COLLINGSWOOD.

We thought, "Nah....couldn't be."   LOL

Connie, this Quentin montage is beautiful.  I think David Selby would enjoy seeing it sometime.  Have you given him printouts of any of your work?

The only album I know by the Moody Blues is Days of Future Passed, but it's one of my favorite albums.  The old videos of their Sixties TV performances are quite haunting, as well.  They had some real lookers in that band back in the day.  I'm sure they all look like grizzled parchment now.  Time is not kind ...

Actually, Steve, Time hasn't been cruel either.....

The photo in the program looks pretty good, truthfully.  They were handsome young men....now they're handsome older men!....Justin Hayward is still beautifully blonde!

The AUDIENCE, on the other hand, was pretty freakin' old!!....(yes, us included!!)  The guy sitting next to The Husband was a ringer for Jerry Garcia....dead or otherwise!

One of their songs, "For My Lady," always makes me think of Barnabas and Josette.  So pretty.

Robin, I went to listen to that song after I read this.  It was so perfect a ballad for a seafaring man to his lady love.  Good choice!

Like Josette, I saw somewhere that there's going to be a new movie coming out, called "Welcome To Collinwood", but I don't know anything about it.

Now I remember where that name Justin came from. When I was in my senior year of high school, my boyfriend of 3 years, used to talk about when we would get married and have children (never came to pass), he wanted to name the boy Justin, if we had one. He was a big Moody Blues fan too. Another flashback moment!

Somehow I doubt David Selby would derive the same enjoyment his fans do from looking at pictures of himself.  LOL

Well, what did you expect? Back in the 70's, everyone over 30 was ready for Medicare!! Personally, I think we're all lookin' pretty good for some of the over 50 crowd.

"Disable smileys" was turned on in your message.  I unchecked it, but I don't know if you accidentally clicked it or if it's a product of the work being done today on the forum, so if anybody has the same problem you might want to click "Modify" in your post and look under the reply window to see if it's checked.  When you uncheck it, be sure to click "Save".

And he denied culpability then too!

So?!  Is it ghosts in the machine, or what?

(And I'm not 50 yet either...tho the hike up to the second mezzanine at Radio City damn near killed me!)

I haven't got a clue - but Ghost in the Machine is one of my favorite albums by The Police. Maybe we should change the discussion to them now. [winkb]

Nah...it's probably me.
"Disable smileys" is always turned on.  I type out the smileys and other code myself.  I mean, when I type out the smiley, it doesn't work -- I just see the letters I typed -- the smiley doesn't appear.
I probably have browser problems again.  Right-click won't work for me when trying to edit a message either.

Things in general on the board are just acting differently.  I'm doomed - jinxed - cursed...
