Well, MB, it was the type of experience that seems to happen to me a lot. I attended the ceremony for Nancy Sinatra when she got her star on the walk of fame. A DS friend got me into the VIP section so I got to hob nob quite a bit. In addition to the aforementioned Mr. Blackwell and assorted Sinatras, I got to interact with James Darren, Diane Ladd, Lainie Kazan, Steve Rossi (of Allen and Rossi), Rodney Bingenheimer and Joanne Worley.
I was absolutely floored when one of the celebrities recognized me and came over and hugged me. It was Pamela Susan Shoop, who was the nurse killed in the hot tub in Halloween II and the ingenue in the camp classic Empire of the Ants.
It was a fun day. I did manage to keep my inner Lucy Ricardo under control.
