I am friends with Geri Reischl, the "Fake Jan" from the Variety Hour. She's a pretty cool lady (with such interesting credits as The Brotherhood of Satan and I Dismember Mama) who seems to be the only member of the extended Brady franchise who not only acknowledges but embraces the cheesiness of the whole variety show concept.

Yes! Geri had left show business some years prior to be a full time mom. Her daughter saw the episode first and said Mom, you have to see this. Mom did and was quite amused!
