The blue dress definitely deserved to be in there. I can't believe the gorgeous grey herringbone tweed coat ranked below some of the other things on that roster, particularly that nubby orange horror.
My absolutely favorite thing she ever wore is this scarf from the summer of 1970. She only wore it for one half of an episode which makes me wonder whether it might have been a personal item of clothing.
I also love the dark green dress with a beautifully embroidered scarf that she wears in the scene where she hypnotises Daphne, also from the summer of 1970.
I read somewhere, in some fanzine, a theory or statement that a deliberate decision was made after Parallel Time 1970 to make Julia's look more feminine and glam as an eventual launch for a full-blown romance with Barnabas. Since the show was canceled and Frid was already making signs of potentially leaving in Nov.-Dec. of 1970, we'll never know.
