Title: Hair
Post by: TERRY308 on June 12, 2003, 12:06:33 PM
What about Brunos hair?  Was that a laugh or what?  I'm pretty sure my Aunt Nancy used to wear her hair like that.

I think in Parallel Time Bruno's hair made a different choice - to be even higher.  If there's yet another parallel time band running somewhere he probably has a beehive.

I guess that will be Bruno's epitaph:

Hair today, gone tomorrow

(Sorry, but you know ... sometimes you just get these awful compulsions to make people groan ....   Is it Friday yet? [goofb])

My guestion is did men ever really wear their hair like that?  I don't remember anyone I knew ever having hair "styled" that way.  Of course, I was young at the time and most of the guys had long hair more like David's.

Hey, HappyBat, not Friday yet but almost there.  Isn't this NE weather just lovely, we get one nice day a week.

The only ones that I can remember wearing their hair like that were the sleaze bags & pimps, LOL!!   (on TV anyway)

I was only around 8 at the time but I had two older sisters who dated alot and would bring their boyfriends over to the house and none of them ever had high helmit hair like that!

Yes, Birdie, I'm getting a little worried about my tiny vegetable garden not getting enough sun.  This spring has been a complete washout!  Well, at least I haven't had to water much.  Remember that drought we had last year?  It seems like it was eons ago!  [wavey]

Well, Bruno (or "Cheap, Insufferable Pig #2," as I prefer to refer to him ;)) is certainly a sleaze bag, so there you have it - the perfect explanation for that hair! [b003]

(I hope everyone isn't too disappointed that Bruno doesn't rate a farewell montage. And don't expect one for CIP#1 either. [wink2])

Bob, I do remember those guys but never the height of hair.  Makes me want to see anyone of those movies or shows to see if my memory is failing me.  Of course, we won't discuss what my hair looked like in the early 70's, not pretty.  Thick curly hair is not pretty long.

Don't know if anyone else has noted that Bruno's hair is almost high enough to qualify for the B-52's. Dance this mess around indeed.

to say nothing of that cheap(cheap!!!)fur coat he wore across these episodes...

michael stroka said in one of the DVD interviews said hairdo required a full roller-set to rival any of the actresses on the show.

Long hair was quite in vogue then. I had it. And, as embarassing as the pictures of me from that period are (and they are, they pale compared to Mr. Stroka's do. No self-respecting hippie or wannabe would have had worn their hair like that.
