I had a terrific lunch at a place whose name escapes me--Cafe Luna, Bella Luna?  I had pan-cooked gnocchi that were out of this world.

Caffe Luna, where you can get breakfast any time.  ;)

We can pile in and sing "Happy Days Are Here Again" and "Three Little Fishies."

You're funny, Jean Claude!

Not off-topic:  If you receive Halloween costume catalogs, do check for the Barnabas mask (the soft "aged Barnabas" mask inspired by HoDS; not the super rare children's costume that could set you back several hundred dollars... assuming you can find one).  If you're interested in purchasing one of these masks, be aware that the price varies.  Here's a sampling--

HalloweenOnly.com
Price $29.98 in stock

Things You Never Knew Existed
Price $29.98 in stock

Halloween Horror Masks
Price $39.98

HalloweenPlus.com
Price $33.65 on sale
This one actually spells his name correctly, yay!

It used to be that you had to go to your local party or costume store to buy one.  But it's wonderful to see these masks readily available by mail order, and that the Barnabas mask is as popular as ever.  :)

Also, I just realized that I just got another DS Board star...I guess you could say I'm now having my first Senior moment  :o (well, on the board anyway). ;)

Heh, heh!  Congratulations, CastleBee, on reaching Senior status.

It is lovely, but it is a one bedroom, one bed suite, so we'd all have to get REAL cozy.  ;D

LOL, Bette, you took that well.  :D

It's fun hanging out at Chez Bette's.  But who is bringing sedatives for Oscar the kitty?  ;)

7325
Oh that is lovely!

How about a preview of the spooky flash forward to 1995?

Let's all join in the chorus for "Ob La Di Ob La Da":

Oh My God.

THEN:
Sandy Newman, top right, in a 1970 ad when he was in Scotland's hit band the Chris McClure Section.  You can really see the resemblance here!--

And NOW:
Maramalade's official site--

Papa Sandy Newman is 3rd from the left.

Hope you had a great birthday, Nelson Collins!

...a couple of things...so there's going to be TWO Frankenstein(s)?? I've been seeing alot of commercials on USA, so I 'ass-u-med' that it was all for one. But this article, and I quote:
pastiche

?? Huh????

See:
The other "Frankenstein"...
which sez:
Quote
Zap2it called it "pastiche" [because it's inspired by Shelley's novel but based on characters created by Dean Koontz] ...

If you look closely at any of the USA ads that are currently running you'll see not Alec Newman but Ivana Milicevic.

7332
TOO funny, CastleBee!

I also have to thank you because part of the code the IMDb uses on their site taught me a trick that I'd never thought of myself. It's very sneaky - so, of course, I love it!  ;D

Funny but fascinating.  :D

Zap2it called it "pastiche" [because it's inspired by Shelley's novel but based on characters created by Dean Koontz] ... (this link will take you to MB's post about the Hallmark version):
Alec Newman Trades Fangs for 'Frankenstein'
... but USA Network's upcoming adaptation of Frankenstein also boasts a DS cast member-- Ivana Milicevic in the role of Victor's wife Erika (Helios, he changed his name from Frankenstein-- the story takes place in the present day and the creator is now the monster).  It premieres Sunday, October 10 at 9 p.m. ET/PT, 8 p.m. CT, and will probably be repeated ad infinitum.

See http://www.usanetwork.com/movies/frankenstein/ for photos, bio and video clip of an interview with Ivana.

Also, her IMDb listing has several photos of her in the role.  Here's a sample:
Ivana Milicevic

This one isn't nearly as well reviewed as Hallmark's.  You've been warned.  ;)
