when the movie finally comes out...the revival will probably end up shoved even further to the back of the line.
That first day, they were also offering copies autographed by Bob Cobert, to ship in "late July." But those must have sold out quickly, because the link was gone from their site within a day.
I guess everything is up in the air especially with the new movie possibly going into production next year. On the other hand that should have nothing to do with the Fest next year?
I wonder whether Daryl Schaefer was ever contacted about possibly looping Grayson's missing dialogue.
...the Jonathan Ross interview on the Accidental Sexiness site- it's in 2 parts:

I forgot to mention that the script writer is Seth Grahame-Smith, author of "Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter", in case that hasn't been posted yet.
Some news today- Variety reports that Seth Grahame-Smith has been signed on as a writer for DS. ...
i remember seeing this movie in it's original run and remember sitting in the theatre all day to watch the movie - those days this was allowed -- and got in trouble for coming home so late. ah, the good old KID days!
nothing prepared me to open the email and see BEN CROSS as Barnabas!! I almost fell out of my chair. lol.
I can't complain, as it made for a terrific surprise
I just would've thought that there would have been some info out about it prior to the release. Or rumblings that it was coming. Or something.
I saw those promos too on the Blue Whale Pub.
how odd that they chose a photo of Barnabas as vampire victim to illustrate "the 175-year-old vampire Barnabas."
I would have been happy with that classic pic of all of them on the stairs...
I'd prefer a different picture, too, something featuring more of the cast
if only they could provide us with a new dvd release that featured the extra footage, the making of video, the fixed aspect ratio/day to night filtering, etc....and some new interviews would be nice. *sighs* I can dream, can't I?
Ideally, I'd just get into a time machine, stop the Gulf War so we'd at least have Season 2. Yes, I would stop the Gulf War just for the continuation of a TV show.
