BARGAIN BASEMENT

There were many deals and/or alliances made on DARK SHADOWS. Do you remember which ones were important to the various storylines and which characters were involved?
It is a good day because I am still ticking!

Quentin :-*   :-*   :-*  making a deal with Monty Hall..oops I mean Angelique ;D to save him from Petofi.

Didn't  :P Daphne :P sorta make a deal w/Gerard?
(Not clear, but regarding the kids.)

Didn't Magda & the Q :-* man have variations of a deal (to save her and her niece/nephew), which didn't pan out....also, Barn & Monty Hall...I mean Angelique ;D also in 1897 to 'chill out for the common good aka to overthrow Laura THEN overthrow Petofi'? (Which, again, was to no avail.)

Yes...also, Jeff Clarke (??) in 1897...dealing with Petofi for his ability to paint....

1897 wins, hands down

Let's hear it for Monty Hall!!  ;D

1795 - Angelique made a deal with Barnabas to spare Josette's life for his promise to stay married to her and keep silent about her witchcraft.

Another famous deal made by Angelique.  She promised to cure little Sarah of her illness (which she caused) if Barnabas agreed to marry her.

1897- Gregory Trask had caught Evan Hanley performing a black magic ceremony. In return for Trask's silence he made a deal with Evan Hanley to have Evan conjure up an image of his late wife Minerva Trask [ghost] and used it to haunt his present wife, Judith to try to scare the hell out of her.  ( What a creep!)  [puke]

Hmm, the first deals that come to mind for me involve Liz and the first season storyline.

She made a deal with Jason to bury Paul*, keep it to himself and scram (for money?).

Liz also made a deal with Roger to say that he was the one who suggested Viki for the job of governess (in a round-about-way) which for his troubles he would not get kicked out of Collinwood (I think).

Also...

Burke made a deal with Mrs. J to snoop on the Collins' to help in his quest to nail Roger for the murder of Bill Mallloy. If I remember correctly, Mrs. J did it for free; turning down Burke's offer of $$$.

Roger made a deal with Sam Evans to frame Burke for the hit and run murder of the nameless pedestrian Roger killed. I think Sam got ten thousand dollars. I guess Roger also made a deal with Laura to frame Burke as well. She got him.

*And we all thought that it was John Lennon that buried Paul...
