Favorite Female names - Angelique & Josette.  

Both are very pretty sounding names. I've always loved uncommon names, (My daughter's names are Marlena & Alicia) and if I had had another girl, It would have been Josette or Angelique.

Also think  Rachel, Sarah, & Ruby are pretty names too.

Least favorite Female name- ABIGAIL!  The name fit the character so well. Reminds me of an old spinster!!

Dorcas & Hortense are just as bad!

Favorite Male names,  Elliott (always liked that name) Morgan, Nickolas, Justin, Daniel, Evan, Eric, and Adam.

Least Favorite Male Names- Sandor, Tad and Lamar.

Favorite gal's name:  Victoria, and I like Vicki, too.

Favorite guy's name:  Barnabas--it's unusual and hard to forget.

Least favorite gal's moniker:  Bathia.  Never heard it before DS--and I'm glad!

Least favorite guy's name:  Jabez.  Just plain weird!

DS always came up with unusual names:  Suki, Magda, Aristede, Quentin, Dorcas--the list is long.

Well, some of them were appropriate for the periods they used--Suky (not with the cutesy i on the end that they used in DS), Dorcas, Abigail, Naomi, Quentin, all of those would have been popular in those times.  Magda is Hungarian, right?  That works for a gypsy, right region.

Suky is a diminutive of Susan.  Not a favorite of mine, I'm afraid :P, but nearly as bad as Roxanne, lol.

I looooove rare names! But who on earth was named Dorcas? That sounds just kinda cruel of the DS writers.... lol

I'll start with the baddies 'cuz they're much more fun.

Least fave male name: a close tie between Burke Devlin and Ezra Braithwaite. Burke Devlin sounds like the cliche that he is and Ezra B. just plain sucks. Least fave female name: Bathia Mapes, hands down. In the immortal words of Alfred E. Newman......ecccchhhh. [pissd]

The best male names: Bramwell and Andreas. Bramwell sounds cool and is just plain fun to say. And like the character who had the name, Andreas is mysterious, dark, and ooky. Loooove it! [okb] [crazy]
The best female name: Angelique. Elegant, mysterious, and powerful. [thumb]

Favorite male names: Burke, Matthew, Peter, Stuart, James, Philip, Paul, Eric.

Least favorite names: Portia, Suki, Bathia, Hortense, Dorcas, Minerva, Amos, Ezra, Jebez, Tad, Bruno, and Dirk.

I'm not fond of my own name so I eliminated Carolyn.

Least favorite Male:  Without a doubt..... Burke Devlin.  I detest that name.


Least favorite Female:  Roxanne.  Or maybe it was the thought of that girl "horning" in on Barnabas.  


Favorite Male Name:  Quentin.  It sounds so aristocratic.

my choice in names I am fond of are fairly simple, Sarah is a very pretty name for any little girl.. just as David is a very masculine handsome name for a boy, although I must add Barnabas as well as Quentin have their own unique charm, true children will taunt these names, no one stays a child for very long... well with the exception of a certain ghost... :)
As for lest favorite names it must be said that Burtha is not very flattering nor is the name Ezra... [shadow=red,left,300]TEXT[/shadow]

ooops, no offense meant daph ;D hey, i kid you not, there is a sign down the road for a real estate agent, and her name is Dorcas Head! mom must have be angry.. as a matter of fact, there is a bunch of heads that live down the road, and i know the postman that delivers all the mail around here...i was golfing with him, and he was telling me he wished they would have named a son Richard.. :)

Sorry, I just now spotted your question. I think Sabrina was OK, kind of more interesting than tv star beautiful. Unfortunately, her whining grates and ruins the effect. I do think Morgan handsome, I really enjoy looking at him.
