EVERY night?  He ate there EVERY night?  I've never heard that.  Jeez....what a moocher.  I read that Selby was known to eat dinner there now and again.  Grayson was a good cook.

Yes Grayson did say that in a 1970ish magazine interview. . .she was poking fun at something her husband had said about a book was writing, "all about Grayson". . .she quipped who'd read it "My Fans are Legion!"

And for the most comprehensive (but not complete) look at Grayson's career, check out this website:

It's color-coded by theatre, television, film and radio

I had no idea that Miss Hall had such an extensive background in theatre.  Thank you so much for providing this information.

J99...that's neat to hear...I don't suppose you have any more details or specifics? (Hmm...we need their son!!)

No salaciousness here. . she fixed him, her husband and her son dinner. . . I understand they would run lines while she prepared dinner. . .and at other times talk on the phone the night before a big scene.    Oh and it probably wasn't every night. . i exaggerated for effect  but to quote Karlen (at last year's Fest). ."She was a fabulous cook" sooo. . i'da mooched too. . i hate cooking although i'm rumored to be pretty good at it. . i'm just lazy i guess.
