And a general question:  Who exactly owns DS these days with regard to broadcast/syndication rights?  Is the show even available to be broadcast if some station wanted to?

Nelson (and loril54), check out replies #37, 38, 41 or 44 in this topic.

SoapNet made an effort to show DS for quite some time-- they've publicly said as much.  The issue was cost.

Thanks for letting me know that the image is "actual size" as it appears.  After checking the www.darkshadowsfestival.com website more closely, I then realized that there probably wasn't a larger photo.

Thank you for letting us know the source.

Also, would Gregory Trask have existed in 1897 following the death of Lamar Trask in 1840/1841PT?

Not if the 1795 Trask had an unmentioned other son.  Besides, a much older brother of Lamar fits better with Gregory's claim that he's the great great grandson of the 1795 Reverend.

Well, on Amazon it's currently #58,204 in book sales.   If it had only made Oprah's book club.   ;)  Seriously, I don't think that's a bad sales rank.

But with this opening sentence listed on their page:  The Bentley throbbed down the dark road through a long corridor of overhanging trees.-- that's enough adjectives to scare some readers off.
