OT: Thirty Nine Years ago tonight...you know who...
« on: February 09, 2003, 05:45:22 PM »
I know I have done this before, but not for a year!  I had no idea, when I woke up 39 years ago today, how different everything would be by the time I went to bed!
[wow]
It's America's anniversary, thanks JPG&R.

cheers,
Ringo [not the real one!][spin]

Ringo,

And, it wasn't long after that memorable night, that the great New York radio DJ, the silver-tongued Cousin Bruce Morrow, was saying that the radio station call letters of WABC stood for: "W...A...Beatle...C!!!"

Bob the Bartender, who refutes/denies the unfair rumor that Bathia Mapes was the inspiration for "Elanor Rigby."

It's that time of year again!  Usually RingoCollins posts this, but he hasn't been around lately, so I thought I would bump it to the top.

I was not one of the lucky people who got to see that first appearance on Ed Sullivan, but I do appreciate the legacy that the Beatles created.  Here's to great music! [beer]
