A Few songs for Julia

"You Owe Me Nothing In Return"

I'll give you countless amounts of outright acceptance if you want it
I will give you encouragement to choose the path that you want if you need it
You can speak of anger and doubts your fears and freak outs and I'll hold it
You can share your so-called shame filled accounts of times in your life and I won't judge it
(and there are no strings attached to it)

You owe me nothing for giving the love that I give
You owe me nothing for caring the way that I have
I give you thanks for receiving it's my privilege
And you owe me nothing in return

You can ask for space for yourself and only yourself and I'll grant it
You can ask for freedom as well or time to travel and you'll have it
You can ask to live by yourself or love someone else and I'll support it
You can ask for anything you want anything at all and I'll understand it
(and there are no strings attached to it)

You owe me nothing for giving the love that I give
You owe me nothing for caring the way that I have
I give you thanks for receiving it's my privilege
And you owe me nothing in return

I bet you're wondering when the next payback shoe will eventually drop
I bet you're wondering when my conditional police will force you to cough up
I bet wonder how far you have now danced you way back into debt
This is the only kind of love as I understand it that there really is

You can express your deepest of truths even if it means I'll lose you and I'll hear it
You can fall into the abyss on your way to your bliss I'll empathize with
You can say that you have to skip town to chase your passion I'll hear it
You can even hit rock bottom have a mid-life crisis and I'll hold it
(and there are no strings attached)

You owe me nothing for giving the love that I give
You owe me nothing for caring the way that I have
I give you thanks for receiving it's my privilege
And you owe me nothing in return

Current Talk '06 II / Re: Poor Magda sure put up with a lot of abuse
« on: October 24, 2006, 09:33:09 PM »
The amount of violence against women alone on this show is unbelievable. I think Quentin himself has strangled at least every single female except for Nora, but wait until she turns sixteen! Although, I have to admit at this point that I am rooting for a Quentin/Magda wedding. These two have a very strong love/hate relationship going on. Their chemistry is through the roof. But I know it won't happen, even though I wished 1897 had ended that way. I think the Head Writer should have created a new character for David Selby to be paired with Grayson Hall in modern times. Oh well, one can dream. Interestingly, even though I find men more attractive, Magda is one sexy lady, for a middle-aged woman.

sounds like you should join that Quentin-Julia yahoo group .. . make it Quentin/Magda.  .. [candle_in_skull]

Current Talk '06 II / Re: What ever became of Diana Davila???
« on: October 21, 2006, 03:31:10 AM »
Perhaps Julia99 may know a little of her later work, as there are some nice mentions of Grayson and Diana having a good personal and working relationship in her new biography of Grayson. I would LOVE  [hall_tongue] to see Diana attend a DS festival.

I'm afraid I know little beside what is in the book.  Most people have fallen out of touch with her--

Is there any fan fic where Barnabas and Julia do get together? (Not talking about the Sam Hall story after the show ended).

there is tons of it on the Julia list     Julia-B-and-JList-subscribe@yahoogroups.com

I was surfing channels early this morning and (as usual) hit this in progress, this time on BlackStarz. I've seen it multiple times, but always in progress from different starting points.  (I highly recommend it to anyone who hasn't caught it.)  Though I have this channel, it's NOT in my cable guide to know when something is on. [hall2_tongue]

Anyway, in watching the closing credits I saw something interesting.  A production assistant named VICKI MOLTKE.  Needless to say that made me curious.  Anyone have any idea who this (I assume) relative of Alexandra (Moltke) Isles is?

The director and writer of this documentary is Ms. Isles, yes.

You're correct Brandon, it won't do any good.  I've already brought it to her attention via email and her response was that she printed the info as she'd rec'd it.  WHATEVER!   ::)

Of course my question is FROM WHOM DID SHE RECEIVE THIS INFO? If it wasn't janet, john, peter or Joe--all of whom would have most certainly mentioned Joe .. then that whole response is suspect to me.
