The San Francisco TV Critic Tim Goodman discusses the theory behind lost which is parallel times/lives and a documentary about the scientist, Hugh Everett III, who theorized it and the repurcussions on his professional and private life (not good):

Whoopie is cool like that! I've heard Kelly Ripa mention DS a few times over the last couple of years.  Said she watched it as a kid (mostly under the covers because it was so scary!)

That musta been in repeats, she was born in '70.
Also thanks for the intel on the DVR recordings, I've wondered about that--

I like how she delivers her line after searching the little girl aboard the airplane.

You definitely get the sense she is the "good doctor's" arm candy/girl friend which is not a role she was afforded in Hollywood. NY on the other hand--Grayson was always the sexually dangerous woman on stage.

I enjoyed Grayson's characters hurling some good barbs or uttering some memorable quips in that great voice of hers:

Good pix sandor!

Anyhow, still no sign of Julia's reading of Mrs J's beads.

Anybody have a clue when and where this happened?

err what? "reading Mrs. J's beads"??

I am enjoying an episode where Barnabas is moaning about Vicki and Burke and Julia says "Don't DElude yourself." The inflection in her voice had me laughing.

Wow! That's an interesting take on the character. I only know her from that old show "Martial Law".  [ghost_smiley]

And lastly, on the original show (and to a lesser extent, the 1991 version) it was never explained why a non-family member in the past looked like a family member (or other character) in modern day. (Natalie looks like Julia; Forbes looks like Joe Haskell, Noah looks like Harry Johnson, etc..) While we fans have had more than 40 years of fun trying to figure out this contorted family tree, why bother bringing up these questions if the budget allows for a different actor for each part?

karmically they are inter-related souls caught up in a trauma they are trying to work out of though maybe on earth they are not family.   I thought in the '91 series Maggie does say something along those lines.
