<<so the smaller and more airtight the space the faster the process.>>

How does this explain the body of Nickoli Lenin being preserved since the 1920's in Moscow?
taken from a website about embalming:
Soviet strongman V.I. LENIN became an icon after his death, helped along by an unusual effort to preserve his corpse. For decades after his 1924 death, Russians lined up in all weather to view Lenin's body on display in a glass container inside a special mausoleum in Red Square. A triumph of the embalmer's art, the corpse was removed on a regular basis for the special top-secret treatments that kept it looking remarkably lifelike. When the Soviet Union fell apart in the 1990s, the fate of Lenin's body became something of a puzzle for the new Russian leadership: a embarrassing symbol of the old regime, yet too famous to remove. As the 21st century began, Lenin was still on display in his Red Square resting place.

Now . . was the embalmer the same guy who did Eva Peron, I seem to recall the Peron imbalmer was an assistant or something for Lenin's corpse???

It certainly was a standard soap plot, i'll give you that.  .. . and if they kept going. . B would've eventually ended up with Julia which would've ruined everything. . .if you follow other shows were unrequited love is finally uhhh, requited. . .that always spells the end as well. . .

"Oh, Barnabas, I care for you too much. . ."  She stops, inches from making the three-word declaration, and he looks at her, brow furrowed.  Forcing a neutral expression onto her face, tamping down on her passion, Julia says carefully, "You're my good friend, I don't want to lose you."

You know the Barn man has it real tuff --a vicious, spitfire of a blonde wife who declares she loves him now matter what she does AND a viviacious red head with luminios eyes who's gone to hell and back for the  boy-- just dying to say the 3 little words. . .poor guy. . .you gotta feel for him. . ::sniff sniff:  But really the idea that he's gonna trust Angelique cuz after a bit-o-time (not as long for her as HIM)  . ..  she's being nice and freed him from a horrible curse (which caused him to kill how many?) that she laid. . . it just really makes my stomache churn. . . and goes again to support a statement made elsewhere that the writers were just doing whatever 'til they were all outta there. . .

And Barnabas is soon to stairway his way back . .now, uh wait. .isn't his body already in 1971 . .how are 2 gonna be merged?  And if that body goes to 1971, how is Willie gonna find it in 1966?  Ohh the mind. . .they all knew they were soon to be outta there and we just going thru the motions. . . you are right that ending in 1841 was seriously WRONG. . they should've at least did a little detour back to 1971. .  .

I think you can also, going with Wes' logic (which is close to mine on this), see that the end was nearing toward the conclusion of  RT1840. .
when B and J return to 1971. . .that scene of them walking out and no hint of anything wrong. from Liz and Julia's statement about them remembering those they left behind. .  .certainly has some sense of finality about it.

But also B starts wavering in his absolute hatred of Angie starting Monday. . . much to Julia's chagrin. . or was that outrighteous indignation?  "She saved us .. "  He says.  "For WHAT Barnabas, For WHAT?"  Julia screams.
Plus she was trying to help Roxanne survive his a bitin' ways. . .nothing could piss a hungry vampire off more than his meal not succumbing. . .So Julia was a goner . .EXCEPT folks. . he was going to BITE her in 1840. . he was going for her neck with his fangs.  The Strangling was in 1967. . .a minute point but i thought i'd make it anyway.

Current Talk '03 II / Carrie Why?

What was the point of the Carrie Stokes character anyway (past the ploy to get B and J into 1840).  She disappears then comes back, whiney and all and this little love situation with that hairy boy . .what was that all about. . .so unnecessary and short-shifted. .  . if they'd maybe developed it but it seemed doomed from the first moment.. so why did the writers even toss it in?  Again, if they wanted something else going on .. .why couldn't you know--my favorite character have had a little unexpected flirtation going on?  That woulda been kinda dicey and distracting. . much more than whiney Carrie.  ..ahhh man. . .i'm just ranting now.

My buddy Magda sez his mini frige is stocked with champagne and beer. I wonder if he seduced Gloria Stavers (editor of 16 Mag) after the photo shoot.... hey, if she was good enough for Jim Morrison and Dion DiMuci....

Love,
Your Magda. .everyone else's Julia, RJ, whatever. . .so many names and only one life. . [bouncer]

. . . but I kinda like Donna Wandrey...

I don't like comatose Roxanne but snippy Roxanne with Lamar is pretty good and of course after this year's DSFEST, I'm a Donna Wandrey fan completely .. she pretty much stole each scene she was in. .. so wonderfully malevolent.

Where is Sandor . . .he needs to get in on this action . . .
