The Dark Shadows Music Book was published by Pomegranate Press several years ago. It's out of print now and goes for big bucks on the secondary market. The book has been out of print for some time and fans have approached Kathryn Leigh Scott about reprinting it. KLS inquired about it but was "denied licensing through the Dan Curtis estate." Jim Pierson informed her that the book would be reprinted by another company but reformatted and probably for more than the $14.95 price that Pomegranate initially charged.

KLS was denied licensing. Wow - that's, uh, a fascinating turn...
It probably won't come as any surprise that the main reason I bought the book was for its gorgeous cover photo of Charles and Angelique from NoDS' piano scene.

Guess I was lucky to buy it at the '03 festival. It's still in mint condition. I'm going to wait until its value hits six figures on Sotheby's.

It's currently selling on Amazon for $877 99.

THAT is an INSANE price!!
-
I'll bet it goes higher.

I LOVE the cover - but even I wouldn't pay even half that if I didn't already own it. No way, no how!!

There is a Bob Cobert signed copy for sale on ebay for $144.99 opening bid ... Still [eek]
