I enjoyed quite a few episodes of the various rebooted version of TTZ. Some were brilliant. But when adding them all up, the various remade series don't add up to the original. I found the remake of The Outer Limits to be superior. My favorite episode of the remake was "Stream of Consciousness." It was about society moving beyond computers, social media and smartphones, and a chip being implanted in the brain shortly after birth where one "downloads" any and all "information" immediately. Only about 3% of the population (basically the same amount today who don't have a cell/smartphone, like me - I still use a landline and refuse to capitulate because I'm a contrarian) can't have it because of some brain injury or defect. They are looked down upon by the general population as being "un-trendy." But then something goes horribly wrong with "the stream" and thousands begin to die. As the body count rises, it's up to the un-trendy to save the human race. Brilliant, and a message for today for those glued to their "smart" phones.
