Title: Love DS Style
Post by: Cassandra on August 27, 2002, 11:40:45 AM: We've all seen lots of couples kissing on DS. :-* Some of them kiss very passionately, while others look more like a pair of statues. In your opinion which couples would you rate as having been the most passionate while kissing? :-*

Quentin and Daphne - also passionate, but a little gentler on his part.
He handled each woman differently.
Very convincing. (at least I was convinced) LOL

Barnabas - quite stiff alot of the time. Seemed uncomfortable. I remember a scene with him and Roxanne (ugh) though, where I thought he did fairly well.

You're right, he always did look stiff, except when he was kissing Angelique. :-* I have to say though that my favorite all time kissing scene was when he came to her room in 1795 to ask her if they still could be friends. Well one thing led to another and before you knew it, they were in each other's arms and kissing like two love crazy teens! :-* :-* :-*

I thought the two of them had great on screen chemistry together, kissing & all. :-* I never saw Barnabas kiss any other actress with the same kind of passion as he did Angelique, not even Josette. ;)

Yes! That was a great scene. I don't have any pictures of the kiss (sorry). Don't know why -- I DO have grabs from that episode.

I think it was Ben Stokes and Bathia Mapes behind the bookcase in the Old House! ;)

Post by: ROBINV on August 31, 2002, 11:54:34 PM: Maggie and Nicholas Blair looked like kissing statues. She kissed others with lots more enjoyment (Joe, for sure), so perhaps she had other issues that impaired her smooching ability.

The only actor Alexandra M seemed to like kissing was the first Burke. All others got a mouth-swipe, like she was wiping the kisses off her lips.

Nancy Barrett kissed with much fervor, and got to kiss her share of actors on the show. John Karlen, Joel Crothers, Buzz, Jeb, Chris--it's a long list, and she always seems to get right into it!
