Megan.....crazed....

Who WOULDN'T seek medical advice immediately if a child is burning up??

Told you we know why David has the book.... [snow_smileydevil]

I also find it completely implausible that Liz wouldn't be adamant about her young daughter mackin' on an 'old dude'.

Philip just enjoys pronouncing that "ll" in "kill" a little too much... Here's what I dislike about Barnabas in Leviathans.  We're not really seeing or hearing Barnabas.  That character we find so interesting (even if we don't like him) isn't present.  There's no sign of the real him struggling underneath.  A switch was just flipped making him be someone and something else.  I'm interested in what the character is going through, but he's not going through anything, he's just being "evil".  It's disconcerting and empty.

Other antique shop customers-- Barbara Pope and Fred Dawson.  Big build up for Phillip's punishment.  Is it to go kill Megan?  Her killer is on his way!!!  Carolyn sees him come in... Welcome back, Garth Blackwood??

Hitchcock chairs are a real type of early American chair and even more valuable now.

Barnabas takes Philip to the Leviathan altar in the woods. No one can see this until he is one of us, Barnabas informs Philip (and us). This is where we will perform the ceremonies--and make the sacrifices. Barnabas lights two black candles at one of the eternal braziers, sets them on the altar and summons Philip to stand at the opposite end. Philip says, I know I’ve been brought here because I failed and must be punished, but how? In time, you will find that out, Barnabas answers.

We can see the Leviathan altar--does that make us cult zombies?

Was Julia with Carolyn when Carolyn saw it?

No. Carolyn was walking through the woods alone. Julia was at the Old House, writing in her diary about her concern for the missing Barnabas.

Oh, thanks. I must have been thinking of when Julia was being followed by Paul through the woods and cornfusing it with Carolyn's trek and her meeting him at the alter. Obviously Barn hadn't returned yet so there'd've been no alter to run into - and as we know, re: Julia seeing the alter - well, you know... ;)

Yes.  The time of the Leviathan people is at hand.  But you know that, don't you?

Everyone who has seen the cairn has something to do with the Leviathans... so far.

I wonder how much DC was behind the decision to make Barnabas totally evil and detestable (again).

Barnabas lights two black candles at one of the eternal braziers, sets them on the altar and summons Philip

How did he get them to stand up like that?  I can't even get tapers to stay upright in my candleholders.

Wow, Midnite, I don't know how Barn got the candles to stay upright. Must be his Leviathan power--or maybe some prepared holes in the top of the altar, lol.

Yes, Barn is particularly unlikeable so far and pretty one-dimensional. Too bad. But I will say no more for now.

Meanwhile, I'll just drink my coffee and wait for the Leviathans to show up.  [snow_cheesy] [snow_shocked]

As a kid, this bad Barnabas was SO agonizing to me. When I think back to how 'into' the show I was it's almost embarrassing.

It's a special thing to be able to throw oneself totally into a story like that, dom.  That's enthusiasm and imagination, both good things.
