Joan Bennett reference in L.A. Noire
« on: December 01, 2011, 08:53:45 PM »
Hi guys, came across this screencap the other day and thought I would share it with you. It's from the video game L.A. Noire, which is a post-WWII detective game where you solve crimes and such. Very dark and violent but a TON of fun. It's a beautiful game, incredibly detailed, depicting 1947 era Los Angeles. Randomly as you drive around the theater marquees will show the names of famous noir films. Scarlet Street was one of them.

I didn't capture this myself, it came from here

How cool that Scarlet Street and Joan Bennett's name are included in the game. Thanks so much for sharing.  [santa_smiley]

If I see it in game I'll run up to the theater and see if there's a movie poster too, that would be pretty cool.
