On nights when she was home alone, Carolyn would sometimes practice the often difficult technique that every true Collins must perfect: how to hold ones nose high in the air while still being able to clearly look down upon the rest of the world.

Yessiree, when I take over this joint, I'm tossing all this musty crap, and I'll get fuschia bean-bag chairs, a zany paisley sofa,  fake zebra-skin rug, yellow Naugahyde recliner, macrame drapes... All that good stuff I saw in "House Beautiful."
