Bands on Dark Shadows

Soaps nowadays like to get rock bands or performers to do guest appearances. It they were doing this back in the late 60's and Early 70's what bands or performers do you think would have fit in on Dark Shadows?

I sugest for example the Zombies or the Grateful Dead. Who else can you think of?

The Zombies are a nice choice, or maybe some kind of Ventures knock-off?

You know that thought crossed my mind 17 years ago. I always wished they would play songs from "The Doors" and Jimi Hendrix" inside The Blue Whale.

I think the Beatles and the Dave Clark Five would have been nice, although Bob the bartender might be a little square for that "modern" music.
