Man From U.N.C.L.E.'s Robert Vaughn Dead at 83 After Brief Illness

I crossed paths with Vaughn a couple of times. It was not a pleasant experience.

I think that Robert Vaughn was the last surviving cast member from "The Magnificent Seven."

In his autobiography, Mr. Vaughn wrote about one of his early film roles in a low-budget sci-fi flick, dealing with cave men and the aftermath of a nuclear war.  Needless to say, he enjoyed being in "The Magnificent Seven" much more than that schlocky 1950s sci-fi film.
