There's so much to share from the opening montage on Sunday's broadcast that I'm going to share the captures in two different batches of postings (some captures may seem similar to what's already been posted from Saturday's broadcast but they're actually taken from footage that was used on Sunday but not on Saturday - and in the case of one capture, because the footage was flipped the wrong way):

(For those who may wonder, this isn't an example of what patrickm was referring to when he said it was interesting to see the house lit up at night - that's something that's upcoming and something that was done live on Sunday night.)

(Hmmm - is that really one of Grayson's pugs that she brought to the location with her back in the '70s?  [easter_cheesy])

Final batch from the montage:

There's definitely a bit of irony in seeing so many dogs in and around the house when practicaly all the scenes featuring Gerard's "vicious" dogs (they do make a cameo at the outset of the scene in which Quentin goes to the stable - though they&re certainly not vicious) ended up on the NoDS cutting room floor supposedly because the dogs they hired were anything but vicious...

And there were some instances where I didn't include some of the shots in the montage because either all that was shown of the grounds were trees in the backgrounds of the dogs/models or they were posing in a fairly insignificant part of the house, like on the terrace with only the floor or a post showing...

(Host Jenny Taft)

And there will be more to come tomorrow - and for who knows how many other days because, believe it not, what I've covered today is from just the first 2 minutes of the broadcast...

And hmmm - could Angelique be strolling the back grounds here:

Maybe as a tribute to the NoDS promotional merchandizing she decided to appear as her Angelique figure.

Before I move on to begin getting the next batch of captures there something that I forgot to point out yesterday.

The footage that this capture -

- was taken from is correct. However, the footage that this capture -

- was taken from was flipped, just like the Gallery footage that followed it in the montage was.

It'll be interesting to see it a correct version of the flipped footage is used anywhere in what's upcoming on Sunday's broadcast, like the correct version of the Gallery footage had been used on Saturday's broadcast...

(The first floor view of the stairwell is conveniently on view in NoDS here. (And if you wonder why I picked a capture from the VHS version of NoDS rather than the DVD/Blu-ray version, well, the VHS version shows more of the frame, and thus, more of the stairwell.  [easter_wink]))

And because I'm so fascinated by the footage, which must have been shot using a drone, here's the full video:

The next batch (and as with yesterday's captures, some may seem similar to what's already been posted but they're actually taken from footage that wasn't used earlier):

(Click here for a 1814X1020 version)

(Click here for a 1814X1020 version)

(Click here for a 1814X1020 version)

And it wasn't a case that I decided how much footage should pass before selecting another capture of the couple and their dog entering the house - the sequence actually skipped footage to jump ahead so I went along with how it did...
