Can I just say, I'm lovin' the pics from episode #0252 that introduce MY MAN! 8)
-
buzz was major and carolyn in this episode was beyond belief!
she ran the gamut...she got drunk.she necked with buzz(before a disapproving vicki and joe).she rocked out to a transister radio in the drawing room before tormenting poor liz(who then had a devil of a time with door at the top of the stairs).
b.t.w. vicki's date at the blue whale here was supposed to be burke not joe.joel crothers got burke's lines when mitch ryan never showed up and mitch was never seen on d.s. again.
today's other episode #513 begins one of my all time least favorite plots...the unbelievably tedious "liz fears death" storyline. >:(

Golly, am I the only one who sort of likes that storyline? Two bits that I particularly enjoy are:
1)
Elizabeth copycatting Naomi's suicide.
I like how Barnabas's reaction is quite different the second time around.
2)
Elizabeth cutting the phone cord in the drawing room.
What I want to know is, did all the Collins family's wealth and influence succeed in getting that device fixed in anything less than two months? And gosh, how I wish I could have seen Roger trying to explain to the repairman what had happened.

Lydia, I thought it was kind of cool. It had a very "Poe-etic" feel to it.
-
I thought that was a pretty good storyline too, except towards the end the writers seemed to lose interest in it. The conclusion deserved a bit more emphasis than it got, IMO.
Liz walks into Collinwood and everybody's like "Liz, you're alive! Great! Now what were we talking about?"
