Is it the technical director who is responsible for making sure that we don't see the shadow of the microphone boom? I saw it twice today, and I usually don't notice such things.
The scene between Barnabas and Jeff at the Old House was interesting. Jeff was sort of suspicious of Barnabas, but he never came near to asking to search the Old House. A year and a quarter ago, anytime anybody came to the Old House we were on tenterhooks, wondering whether Maggie's presence there would be discovered - but today there was no thought of sequestered maidens. Where are the snows of yesteryear?
It was less than a week ago that Carolyn declared she could never be alone with Adam again, and but today she went charging up to his room without an escort. I can understand that she felt that the matter was urgent. On the other hand, if she felt that Adam was capable of doing violence to Vicky, then she should have considered that she herself might be on the receiving end of some violence as well. I don't think we ever do find out how she escaped from Adam the other day when he locked her into his room with him.
Adam has lied outright to Carolyn for the first time. Does he feel the pain of it? Does he feel sullied? Or does he feel that a Creation's gotta do what a Creation's gotta do? And he's ready to kill Vicky. Does he like himself?
