Congratulations and much much happiness Kuanyin.  I also have 2 sons that are challenged...one mentally and both physically...  and both very much a blessing to me as I am sure your son is to you.. You deserve nothing but the best!

I also wish you would reconsider, Vam.   You provide the board with a wide variety of topics to discuss and your presence would certainly be missed.  I hope you stay.

Two of my favorites were Creature from the Black Lagoon and Giant Gila Monster.  I believe they were in the 1950's though.  I used to come home from school every afternoon and watch a 4:00 movie called "The Big Show".  It featured  a lot of these type movies.  I loved them!  I seem to remember watching The Mummy at the local theater and it was in 3-d..  I know I watched some movie wearing those 3-d glasses.. I think that was the one.. I remember thinking how cool that was :)  I loved watching  the older movies you have all mentioned as well.   And one more  that scared me was The Blob.  I was sitting in the back row of the theater with these vent things behind me.. I just knew that icky Blob stuff was gonna come through those vents!

I'll tell ya....I have an older brother and he never dealt with me (or looked at me or touched me)  the way Ned does with Sabrina - for which I will always be eternally grateful  :D

..I didnt have a brother that did that either.. but there were a couple of cousins I avoided being alone with as much as possible

I loved how Julia checked Sabrina's blood pressure.. she barely got the cuff around her arm and left it on a few seconds... she didnt even have her stethoscope around her neck, much less in her ears.. then pronounced her blood pressure was fine.. sheesh!  But of course.. she determined sabrina needed a sedative..lol

I'm sorry, but the handle of Barn's cane does not resemble a wolf. I kept thinking of how funny it would have sounded to hear Ned exclaim, "Greyhound! Greyhound! She's responding to the sight of a greyhound! My sister must have hit by a bus! And Chris must have been behind the wheel!"

LOL... It does look more like a greyhound than a wolf.  And today Ned was standing behind Sabrina looking down at her.. I was thinking it was probably hard for him to resist touching that head of hair... the next thing you know his hands were all in it..lol   Then it looked like he was contemplating giving her a full-frontal chest massage.. his hands were everywhere!

didnt he pull her picture out of a drawer?  I'm not sure... but if he did.. that would make sense that he kept a picture of her but had it put away instead of displaying it where it would be sure to provoke questions
