First bits of snow last day or two, first frost this morning here I think, near Chicago.

We had a few snowflakes here on Halloween Day, but interestingly no frost yet.  And this is east-central Wisconsin. [hall2_cheesy] [snow_cheesy]

Not all of New England. Nothing here in southern Connecticut. Just extremely windy. [snowball]

Lucky you.  [snow_wink]  Because it was a coastal storm, the perhaps not so lucky of us seem to have been in Rhode Island, Massachusetts, Maine, and a small corner of New Hampshire. It was wild here for a while. But now you would barely even know there was ever snow in the area because practically all trace of it is gone...

Well, if you've got to have a snowstorm, that's certainly the kind to have. [snow_wink] And, this being New England, I have no doubt that my turn will come soon enough. [snowball]

Last few years, the big snowstorms around here seem to come from Oklahoma, which seems to make no sense at all.  We have "lake effect" snow here, when the wind happens to decide to flow backward (east to west) and Lake Michigan dumps it on us.  A couple years ago, a "water Spout" formed on the lake just two miles to the east of me and came this way, then changed its mind  They're tornadoes on water.

Seems I'm all chatty about the weather tonight.

The snowmen have gone back into hibernation.  [hall2_cry]  But I'm sure they'll be back before too long...

Yeah, they're hibernating here in Georgia.

We've had freeze watches/warnings, etc.

Oh baby it's cold!!

I've wondered what the deep south is like in winter.  I know I can't stand it there in summer.

Colder than I was ready for yesterday.  Had to get groceries... underdressed definitely.  I'm really not prepared for winter.  I lack the necessary insulation, unless I just want to wear three or four big sweaters... no snow though.
