OT: Why we need SyFy's new werewolf drama

Or so this article says that we need it: Syfy's 'Bitten': Why we need a female-centric werewolf drama series

I can't say I disagree with much of the reasoning. And considering it's a Canadian show and not one produced by SyFy, that has to be a plus.

She Wolf of London, later re-titled Love and Curses, back in the early 1990s had a female werewolf, played by the wonderful Kate Hodge. So that was an earlier series that was focused around a woman-wolf.  The episodes filmed in the UK were wonderful and some of the US-set shows were better than widely touted (IMO, of course).  I revisited the series via Netflix a few years ago.

The new series could be interesting... I will look for a trailer on the Tube.
