Near the outset of Scene 117, after Carlotta brings Angelique's portrait back into the Gallery and Quentin tells her, "I said I didn't want to see that again," Carlotta replies, "It belongs in this room." - and the subtitles do reflect both those lines - however, when it comes to Carlotta's line, the closed captioning has -
- and something that's interesting about that is her line was originally scripted to be "But it belongs here, Mr. Collins." - and this is hardly the only instance where something that's different in the closed captioning from what's actually said in the film is more similar to what was originally scripted...

you insinuated to my niece and one of my employees that I had something to do with Malloy's disappearance? I didn't insinuate a thing to them, or you, says Burke, I'm TELLING you, loud and clear! Why shouldn't I? asks Roger--didn't I agree to meet you and Evans and Malloy right here in this office--doesn't that prove I didn't have a thing to worry about? Burke grins. No, he says, it only proves that Malloy was right when he wanted to tell me something at that meeting, something detrimental to you and Sam Evans. That doesn't make sense, says Roger, I tell you I have nothing to do with Evans. Then why did Bill want him there last night? asks Burke. I don't know, says Roger, I told you he might have gone haywire, he's been saying all sorts of things for which he had absolutely no basis. I think he had a basis, says Burke--he wanted Sam to corroborate that evidence. Then why didn't he? asks Roger, when you and I were here in this office for almost an hour--why didn't Evans speak up then? Burke says maybe he was afraid--what have you got on him? On Evans?--I hardly know the man, says Roger. Bill Malloy set up that meeting for one reason only, says Burke--to clear me of that manslaughter charge? How could he? asks Roger. Through Evans, says Burke--and when Bill didn't show up last night, you must have talked to Evans, told him to keep his mouth shut. Ridiculous, says Roger--you're like a man with a jigsaw puzzle, trying to force the pieces to fit when they don't.
Continuing Scene 117, beginning with yesterday's quote, Quentin's response to the portrait belonging in the room -Page 56/Scene 117 - Quentin: 'I find it distracting. I don't want it around.'
- coming up, followed by today's quote -Page 56/Scene 117 - Carlotta: 'There would be fewer distractions if you went back to the tower.'
- coming up.
And as far as any differences in the dialogue, there aren't any because both Quentin's and Carlotta's lines are delivered exactly as scripted.
And as far as any differences in the directions and the descriptions, there aren't any at this point. Nor are there any notations in DC's script for this section. And what's interesting about DC's script is that there's no indication that beginning with Quentin's quote from yesterday, the camera switches to a 2 shot from a different angle, as can be seen in -
- yesterday's capture.
However, Grayson's notes for this section of the scene reiterate that Carlotta will relate to the painting, by touching and caressing it (although, all Carlotta really does is arrange the painting so that it stands on its side on its own). And also that Carlotta must be clear that what she's saying is important.
