The Grayson Hall book website has been redesigned and relaunched today.

Very nice. And great photos in the slideshow. (One in particular looks like she could have played the Mad Hatter in a version of Alice in Wonderland.  [b003])

She is "the Fly" or "Lady in Gray", the ultimate crime moll/lady boss in Happy  End with Christopher Lloyd and Meryl Streep.  In that photo with the cigarette her coat is covering a broken/sprained arm.  She obviously got better enough to be hoisted by the boys above their heads.

Superb work.  A really excellent re-design for the site!

An interesting snippet of Grayson news:  Grayson's episode of Kojak (episode three from season 2 of the series) is finally going to be available on DVD, albeit from a company based in Australia. The set is being released in April.  Check out www.amazon.co.uk for details.  Unfortunately, that wreteched Universal has stated they have no interest in releasing the remainder of the series here in the US.

The overseas companies such as Network really do justice to these classic series much better than most of our domestic firms (I will make a strong exception for MPI, which not only did wonderful work with their DS sets, but has kept them in print--hooray!).

That's Mad Hatter material, too.  [snow_cheesy]  But I was actually referring to the last photo where she's part of a group of four women (and the one standing to her left appears to be Madeleine Sherwood?). With the hat and that shock of red hair, she could also be Johnny Depp's Mad Hatter's mother.  [snow_wink]

I personally love the close up of her in sepia tone.  She is divine!  And of course to anyone who will hear it my favorite picture of her younger years is with her and Ted. She is simply gorgeous with the dark lip stick, full face and beautiful hair.  She reminds of Rose (Kate Winslet) from Titanic in that pic.  I am not comparing the two. There is just something about her "look"! Perhaps is the red hair and dark lipstick and full rounded face?

What a thought about her playing the Mad Hatter. It's times such as these when one grieves for the things Grayson could have played had she had more time with us.   [snow_sad]

A new tribute to Grayson was added to YouTube a few days ago, featuring some unusual images (mostly screen captures from DVDs, I think):

The soundtrack is an aria from some opera not known to me... sounds vaguely like Engelbert Humperdinck...
