"Roger, I really do think that you should have Mr. Petrocelli let-out the crotch on your new 'stretch,' Johnny Carson suit pants from Brewster's Department Store, just a wee-bit more."

The arrival of an 80's Rock Star convinces Judith that the staircase-thru-time must be destroyed.... before something even MORE horrible arrives. [haironend]

LMAO on that one!!! ;D  Poor Jenny looks like either Kelly LeBrock in "Weird Science" or one of the R&R singing Wilson sisters in "Heart' with that coif!

Sandor, in a moment of great inner-turmoil:

"Do I fib to Magda and say that she still has the classic visage of the Mona Lisa or do I tell her the truth and say that she's sprouting a moustache of Pancho Villa-like proportions?  Sod, that!"

"Gee, whiz, Dr. Hoffman, what's the problem?  Maggie said that she just wanted to share a quiet, candlelit supper with Barnabas at her old cottage, and for you to kindly take David and me to Arby's for dinner."

Sam opts for the rugged Victor Mature/"Tony Powell" mucho-macho trenchcoat look from "After the Fox," while Roger opts for the refined Clifton Webb/"Eliott Templeton" lord-of-the-manor smoking jacket look from "The Razor's Edge."

"I must say, Barnabas, that it was incredibly remiss of you and Juila not to bring back some free samples of Botox, Crest Whitening Strips, Propecia and Viagra back from 1995 for us all to use and enjoy!"  ;)

Dear Fellow Dark Shadows Fans,

A very heartfelt and, regrettably, much-belated thank you for the extremely kind birthday wishes, to Midnite and all of the truly wonderful people on this always outstanding site!

As the years pass by, I'm occasionaly reminded of the entirely apocryphal conversation, in which the Eagle Hill Cemetery caretaker is alleged to have said to Judge Crathorne over a couple of G-and-T's at the Blue Whale: "Your Honor, you know it's a good day, when you can get up out of bed and nothing hurts...and, perhaps even more importantly, you can also clearly remember your own full name."    :-

Sincerely,

Bob the Bartender, faithful Focus Factor and Propax user (At least, I think that I am?) ::)

"Clark, to let Vicky pay for your new suit is bad enough, but to also let her pay for your haircut and  lustrous highlights is simply beyond the pale!"  >:(

"No, reverend, you misunderstood me completely.  I asked if you will employ great circumspection in dealing with Barnabas Collins and NOT if you will employ great circumcision in dealing with Barnabas Collins!"  ::)

Mrs. J: "Gotta be careful on these steps, now that I'm pregnant, you know!!

Very funny indeed!  ;D  Mrs. J. may be Maine's oldest mom ever.  (I think that the Eagle Hill Cemetery caretaker is the likely dad; always the sly fox!)

"Oh, to be actually hired as a celebrity correspondent on 'Entertainment Tonight' with the hallowed likes of Mark Stienes and Pat O'Brien.  Now my 239-year-old life truly has great meaning and purpose!" :D

"Yes, Paula Young Wig Co., this is Mrs. Sarah Johnson of Collinsport, Me., one of your most satisfield customers calling.  I'd like to order the 'William Shatner Special' as a Christmas gift for Sheriff George Patterson."

Gee, I don't know, but I've always thought that actor Abe Vigoda cut a rather dashing figure in his rakishly stylish clothes on Dark Shadows as both Ezra Braithwaite and Otis Green; a geriatric gigolo, if you will!   [coolbrows] [grim]

"Didn't I see you wearing that same florid dress over in Bryant Park during Fashion Week?  Oh, no, that's not right.  I saw you wearing that outfit during your 'guest' appearance on 'The Maury Povich Show' over in Times Square."   ::)

Barnabas Collins, a very proper and reserved gentleman of the 18th Century, is left absolutely dumbfounded after Dr. Hoffman casually tells him of her work as a young research assistant on The Kinsey Report  for Dr. Alfred Kinsey!   :o
