Thanks Cris. I would buy tickets in a heartbeat if I could make it out to CA.

I am hoping that with Illinois being the Land Of Lincoln, David will come here to Chicago for something similar. Even a book signing would do  [ghost_smiley]

David is truly the go-to man for all things Lincoln!  I met David at one of his book signings for Lincoln's Better Angel, and what a sweet and charming gentleman!  I hope this is a memorable performance.

I know, I wish i could see the Flatboat man Lincoln tv performance he did from the 60's. I'm a fan of Lincoln in general!

Heck, I'm excited for the new Spielberg Lincoln project. I think Liam Neeson will be brilliant

Belated thanks for the info, Ms. C.  A friend of mine is born and raised in SLO and is over the moon about this!!!  Will pass on the ticket info.

Quentin-channing:  Fellow Lincoln buff here. He was INCREDIBLE (as was the rest of the cast) in "The Heavens are Hung in Black".

Keep fingers crossed about The Flatboatman.  It was shown at my first fest in 03, so I would guess it's not impossible that someone could acquire it again for a future fest.

I hope your friend will share a review of the performance, Pansity.  I'm sure Selby's narration will be fabulous.  "Fellow citizens, we cannot escape history."  Goosebumps!
