Her stuff was interesting, to say the least. The first one that I remember is back in the Newark days. What appeared to be a pile of laundry appeared on stage. But it was no mere laundry. Underneath was Adriana who proceeded to discard layers to the tune of Killing Me Softly. The performance became known as The Dance of the Seven Tablecloths. And I can tell you that it's impossible for me to listen to the song without thinking of that moment in Newark.
Adriana brought a level of creative insanity to the festival. And you just did not know what she would come up with. There was a very 1940's Elizabeth, complete with fire poker. A counselor from Camp Collinsport, with the wake up call "Okay, dead meat." And Megan Todd as a delegate to the Democratic convention, accessories with an animated bat hat from the store Hats in the Belfry.
And I would like to point that Adriana achieved a cult following that transcended DS altogether. People had absolutely no interest in DS whatsoever wanted and expected an update on what she did in the costume contest.
