...they slipped on the floor. The coffin went flying through the supposedly brick wall, Frid went flying into a vat of dry ice, and worst of all by far, a fully lit candelabra was knocked over and tragically destroyed Grayson Hall's last six cartons of cigarettes.
In this moment I feel more sorry for Julia than ever before and it's the only time I think Dark Shadows has ever made me tear up. It's such a true statement that most of us I am sure have felt in our lives. I know I have.
Kudos to Grayson for playing that scene beautifully and it's too bad Frid didn't comment on it at the Fest.
My impression is that Quentin's infatuation with Daphne is largely, if not solely, of supernatural creation. He's just not acting like the Quentin-on-the-chase that we're used to seeing. As for the isolation and the dead-end non-role, he may still be recovering from Amanda's death.
(His PT self's spirit is reaching over from PT and trying to influence him. Scary!! )
