This episode ends with Barnabas and Vicky (under his control) driving to the mausoleum and she sees Peter on the road and then the car crashes.  I never noticed before, but the footage of Peter on the road is an actual filmed outside shot- not taped in the studio.

Interesting that at this point they still were doing this when the last exterior shot was pre-1795.

Honestly, I suspect it's a better than usual studio set. The tree trunks look great - and there's even a curb for the sidewalk (I don't know if we ever see a street set with a curb again) - but the leaves on the tress look artificial and especially too well grown for early April.

it's definitely a set. after 66 maybe early 67 they never shot exteriors again. and they never appeared in the color episodes.

and if they were gong to shoot exteriors at this stage they would have used Frid or someone more important than going through all that effort and expense for a 5 second shot of Roger Davis.
