Yes, that's the same one.  I just looked on IMDB and the episode is titled, Elegy for a Vampire.  I just wish I could remember more about this particular episode.

Does anyone remember the Ghost Story tv series that aired on NBC circa 1972?  I vaguely remember an episode with Hal Linden playing a vampire.

Nancy, I have an interview with Anthony George in the July/August 1995 issue of The TV Collector in which he stated that he hating doing Dark Shadows.  Another bone of contention with George was that he wanted to direct and Dan would not have that.  I moved last year and the issue is still packed away somewhere.

Raymond McNally and Radu Florescu wrote The Essential Dracula which was published in 1979.   It was based on Bram Stoker's notes for the novel.  I have a copy of it still packed away from my move last year.  And there was a mention of a secretary cleaning up the novel for publication.
