Seems like the movie's gonna be a takeoff on the Long Halloween storyline:

Which does include Catwoman quite abit (one of the villains suppose to appear in the new film) but not the other villain Bane.

If they do a proper adaption of The Long Halloween I will explode. They could replace some of the other villans with Bane, since characters like the Penguin, Solomon Grundy, the Riddler, Poison Ivy, etc don't exist in Nolan's universe (yet or maybe ever).

But still.... I am sooooo excited.

Though about the only thing that's different this time around is that "insiders" are telling Variety that JGL will play Alberto Falcone...

You've gotta love the secrecy surrounding so many movies these days (including the Depp/DS film). I can certainly understand keeping major plot points secret because it's no fun to have everything about a movie ruined beforehand. But frequently productions go way overboard by trying to keep even the slightest little tidbit from getting out. And, of course, that only makes people more determined to find out, which more often than not they do, so all the effort to be so secret about even the little things seems like wasted energy...

I remember back in the day before TDK came out, reading somewhere that [spoiler]Gordon was shot and killed.[/spoiler] It literally ruined my day. I was so upset. I couldn't believe they would do that! Of course, they didn't, much to my relief, but damnit, spoilers are annoying!

They'll be filming at least part of it here (Pittsburgh) this summer. Although we've had a lot of movies and TV shows done here, particularly in recent years, this is really a biggie and apparently it was quite a coup for them to be doing it here.
