DISECTING A DEVOTION
« on: September 15, 2002, 03:08:04 AM »
What does Barnabas and Quentin have in common other than the name Collins?
Well for starters, both fell in love with servant girls. Also one might mention that Barnabas and Quentin suffered from an affliction brought on by a curse. I could think of a few more traits but would like to open this up for your comments and discussion.
It is a good day because I am still ticking!

They both had an arrogance that only comes from being brought up in wealth and luxury.

Both chose questionable friends--Nathan Forbes in Barnabas' case, Evan Hanley in Quentin's.

Both were reluctantly tangled with Angelique and although Barnabas married her and Quentin was forcibly engaged to her, neither wanted anyhing to do with her.

Love, Robin

That was well put, Robin.  I am a big fan of Robservations.  I sometimes forget that I missed an episode after I have read one of your descriptions because they are so dead on.
