For what it's worth several years ago I bought several autographed pictures of KLS from her website (my bedroom is decorated with autographed DS pictures and one large gorgeous B&W poster of KLS and Frid as Barnabas and Maggie in the Old House) and she sent me a bonus autographed picture and a very nice hand written letter. So I think of her as being a very nice, warm person who appreciates her fans.
I agree Quentincollins! I have several of KLS books bought both online and at fest and have always enjoyed reading them and don't mind the promotion at all. I have also found her to be a very warm person, patient and very friendly.
