Very Rare Joan Bennett Films on DVD

ATTN JB Fans:
go to:
www.LostSilver.com

you can purchase two long unseen JB films on DVD there:
The Eyes of Charles Sand, a creepy 1972 TV film, her first role after DS.
and The Reckless Moment, a superb film noir from 1949.

Neither title is available elsewhere, so, even though these are most likely bootlegs, why not?
I'm getting them!

Lost Silver also has:
The Reincarnation of Peter Proud, a very well done but low budget chiller that features Addison Powell in a large supporting role~~and he knew his lines, LOL!

Isn't Addison Powell only in two sequences? Granted, they're important. But I seem to remember that his part wouldn't even last two and half minutes in total.

I don't recall, MB. Guess I'll find out when I see the film again.

As I recall, and not to give too much away, Powell appears when Michael Sarrazin's character questions his character, and then later when he's talking to Margot Kidder's character.

I have been dying to see this JB classic for years!!!!!--

The Man Who Reclaimed His Head

From www.sinistercinema.com:
(1934) Claude Rains, Joan Bennett, Lionel Atwill, Henry O’Neill. A great film about a pacifist who goes to work for a publisher and writes anti-war editorials. The writer feels betrayed, though, when he finds the publisher in cahoots with arms manufacturers. But he goes totally nuts when he discovers the publisher trying to make the move on his wife. Sometimes classified as a horror film because of its most horrific climax. A must. From 16mm.

Yippee, and thank you, Kosmo!!!

That's wonderful news, Midnite.  I surely wish that Netflix carried Sinister Cinema releases!

The Reincarnation of P.P. was the FIRST R-rated movie I ever saw.

My mother kept putting her hand over my eyes during nude scenese [ghost_blink]
