I guess it's too political to say for me it was the election of George Bush . . .

Oops, I apologize for my remark . . I thought I was privately PMing someone, not posting my comment on the board.

Well, for that, Nancy, you will be stoned with all of the left-over Reese's Peanut Butter Cups from trick-or-treat!  Well, wait, not those.  You'll be stoned with all the left-over Good'N'Plenties!  So there!  That'll teach you a lesson!

Frankly, I'm shocked.   Frank's right here with me, and he's shocked too.   Being pelted with delicious candy is too good (and/or plenty) for you.

I watched an episode of Boris Karloff's Thriller called "The Grim Reaper" with Bill Shatner and Natalie Schafer competing in shredding the scenery (I think Schafer, who played Lovey Howell on "Gilligan's Island," gets the prize for cooing in a very sloshed drawl, "Death is my business partner, dahling" to a horrified Shatner).  And I watched Barbara Steele's scenes from The Crimson Cult in which Steele appears in bright green fright makeup, fire engine red lipgloss, a gigantic pheasant-feathered rams horn headdress, and a sick Ren Faire bodice with a very pneumatic bustier.

Neither of these is available on DVD, but I did watch a couple of Forever Knight music videos from the final DVD set of that series, as well.

Holiday cheer!

A DS PS:  Set 12 of the regular DS series arrived over the weekend (a sale purchase from Amazon vendor), and last night in honor of All Souls Day I was test driving it.  I watched the brilliant scene where
the ghost of Madam Finlay speaks through Mrs Johnson at a seance in January 1969.
Clarice Blackburn fiercely rules!

I believe she has always been woefully underrated. Her acting as Mrs. Johnson and then as Abigail Collins were brilliant! Both characters were so different, yet she played them with such great spirit! I really enjoy watching her in each role.
