[It's up to the first poster to come up with a set up, and then each following post will either complete it or fill in the blank(s). And, as always, whoever posts the set up is certainly allowed to post their own completion/fill in as a follow up.]

Complete this phrase: "All of a sudden it hit Barnabas that the fastest way for him to get to the courthouse would be to...!!"
-
"...borrow Angelique's broom!!" [_witch_]
-
Ride ride ride the wild surf
-
[pointing-up] One might think the waves around Maine aren't large enough to surf. But considering all the other anomalies in Collinsport, why do I suspect the waves around Collinsport are 100% surfable?! [rofl10] [thumb]
Just trying to picture Barnabas on a surf board is too, Too, TOO FUNNY!!
-
Probably as wacky as Batman and the Joker on surfboards! In their costumes, yet!
-
([pointing-up] Exactly!! And of course Barnabas would be wearing his cape to make it an even more ridiculous sight!! [lghy])
-
He'd likely have the cane with him as well!
-
([pointing-up] A completely insane image!!)
-
To the tune of Wipeout!
-
([pointing-up] OMG - YES!! [thumb])
-
A scenario worthy of Psycho Beach Party.
-
([pointing-up] Most definitely!! Too bad to our knowledge Frid was never approached to reprise Barn for Psycho Beach Party...)
-
Charles Busch is a DS fan, so it conceivably could have happened.
-
([pointing-up] Totally OT but just recently I saw Busch's play The Tribute Artist. Not as funny as Die, Mommy, Die, but then, jokes like the one involving the lazy susan are so few and far between!! [naughty])
-
I wrote Charles after I saw him as Chicklett in Psycho Beach Party. He replied with a very gracious note and seemed genuinely flattered that he had inspired my performance as Carolyn Stoddard. Nope, it wasn't for Halloween; it was for a skit. And, for better or worse, my ingenue days are long behind me.
-
([pointing-up] Good to know he's down to earth enough to answer his own fan mail...)
-
Some answer every letter, especially old Hollywood. Rose Marie did, as did Joan Crawford. As far as DS goes, KLS used to respond to fan mail, usually with a signed picture. No idea if she still does or not.
-
... practice practice practice, since the Courthouse was on the way to Carnegie Hall
-
