Caught Anita Sharp-Bolster in 1948's The Woman In White on TV today from a recently recorded TCM airing. She was prominently billed and had a reasonably significant part. It was a fun surprise during an ordinary day.

That's a wonderful film. I remember Anita in it. The movie has a feeling that seems very anticipatory of DS.

Yes, and speaking of...
I finally caught Jane Eyre (Welles/Fontaine '43). After hearing so much about it being Vicki's story, well, I just HAD to see it.
