I play PCH (the Publishers' Clearinghouse Sweepstakes) every day on-line. It's free, it's fun (although you have to put up with a lotta ads), and - eh - somebody's gotta win (I've already won over $300 plus gift cards). Anyway, a couple weeks ago, the site had the same problems. For certain people in certain parts of the nation for certain games, it would go into error. It was all a mish-mash mess. I called PCH and the woman told me they couldn't figure out what was wrong but were working on it. She said the strangest thing was how, like I said, it wasn't the same across the country. They didn't know if it was with their site, software or server. It went on for several days. Finally, PCH completely reset its website and then sent e-mails telling everyone to clear their cache of PCH's cookies and log-in again (it also sent a link that would automatically do it). Voila! It ended. They explained they never totally figured out what went wrong, thinking it was a combination of site, software and server that somehow glitched. But it mysteriously ended the way it mysteriously began.
