[bawling2]
Complete this phrase: "Flora burst into tears and wails of terror when Desmond informed her...!!"
-
... that he thought Shakespeare just barely edged her out, as best author of all time!!
-
[laughing4] But how could a loving son ever say such a thing?! No wonder Flora was letting out wails of terror!
-
That Julia had said that Flora was hardly the Harriet Nelson of 1840.
-
[pointing-up] [rofl10] Although, I would look on that as a good thing!! [nodassent] [thumb]
-
According to her granddaughter Tracy, the real Harriet Nelson was actually a pretty cool lady who liked her liquor, had a salty vocabulary and never cooked a meal once she and Ozzie could afford a housekeeper. She sounds like a great broad (as is Tracy, by the way) and probably would tolerated Barnabas for about ten minutes tops.
-
that he would be designing a mobile for Rose Cottage's drawing room, based around the fabled Wang of Judah Zachery, which he had just acquired
-
[pointing-up] OMG! Can you even imagine?! [rofl10] [thumb]

(I was thinking more along her public image from her show. Even she must have gotten sick of playing someone so good and pure!! [nodassent])
-
Apparently Harriet was a much better actress than people realized.
-
([pointing-up] Apparently she really was!! [nodassent] Who knew...)
-
In those days, the image was extremely well protected.
-
([pointing-up] Back then, image was everything!! The truth was a liability...)
-
In some cases, it still is!
-
([pointing-up] Sad, but true...)
